Overview

Voyageur is a Canadian junior mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral concessions with a specific focus on mineral properties in Northwest Manitoba and Northeast Saskatchewan, Canada.

All of the Company’s properties are currently at the exploration stage. Voyageur has assembled a portfolio of high-quality copper-gold-zinc deposits in world class geological terranes.

The Company also holds a portfolio of royalties on numerous exploration properties and one Pre-Feasibility Stage(“PFS”) stage project.

Voyageur is excited to embark on this next phase in the Company’s evolution, focused on highlighting the attractive mineral content of its land position, and advancing the gold potential within a number of its projects in the near-term.

  • Robert D. Cudney

    Executive Chairman

    Mr. Cudney, the Founder, President and CEO of Northfield Capital Corporation, is a long-time financier within the resource industry. He is credited as a Founder and inaugural Director of FNX Mining Company Inc., Co-Chairman of Gold Eagle Mines Ltd., Founder and financier of Guyana Goldfields Inc., as well as the original financier of Noront Resources Ltd. in their discovery of the Ring of Fire. Mr. Cudney was the recipient of the Bill Dennis Award in 2016 for the discovery of the Bruce Channel Deposit in Red Lake, Ontario, where he was instrumental in the subsequent sale of Gold Eagle Mines Ltd., to Goldcorp Inc. for $1.5-billion in 2008.

  • Fraser Laschinger

    CEO, President and Director

    Mr. Laschinger was a co-founder of Mineral Streams Inc., a private mineral royalty company that was sold to AuRico Metals Inc. in 2015. Since 2013, Mr. Laschinger has been the Chief Financial Officer of Hemlo Explorers Inc., a mineral exploration company focused on the Hemlo camp in Ontario. Previously, Mr. Laschinger worked in equity research for a Canadian investment dealer. He graduated with an Honours in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 2006.

  • Marina Katsimitsoulias CPA, CA

    CFO

    Ms. Katsimitsoulias is a CPA, CA with over thirteen (13) years of finance experience providing accounting and financial management, controllership, and decision support in the healthcare and manufacturing industries. Her skillset includes but is not limited to, financial reporting and analysis (US GAPP and IFRS), M&A financial due diligence and financial integration, treasury and taxation and budgeting, forecasting and business planning and analysis. Ms. Katsimitsoulias currently serves as the Director of Financial Reporting for Northfield Capital Corporation, the major shareholder of Voyageur (Northfield is a Canadian based investment company which holds investment interests in the resource, transportation, manufacturing, and technology sectors). Ms. Katsimitsoulias earned her CPA, CA designation while working in the audit and assurance practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and Minor in French from the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada.

  • William J. Phillips

    Director

    William J. Phillips is a businessman and manufacturer. Since January 1993, Mr. Phillips has been the President, CEO and owner of Woodlore International Inc., a manufacturer of customized furniture.

  • Brent Peters

    Director

    Mr. Peters is a finance executive with over 25 years experience in senior roles of both public and private corporations. He is also the past Vice President Finance and Director of Northfield Capital Corporation.

  • Ross Orr

    Director

    Mr. Orr has been the President and CEO of BacTech Environmental Corp. since 2011.  Prior to that, he was a partner in CC Capital Corp. for five years.  He is a graduate of the University of Calgary.

  • John D. Harvey

    Advisory Board

    Mr. Harvey graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from the University of New Brunswick. He has served as president and Chief Executive Officer of Hemlo Gold Mines Inc. and also held the position of President of Noranda Exploration Co. Ltd. In 2009 he was the recipient of the Bill Dennis Award for discovery of the Ring of Fire in the James Bay Lowlands of Ontario.

  • Edward G. Thompson

    Advisory Board

    Mr. Thompson is a dedicated supporter of mining industry causes and associations. Mr. Thompson contributed to the growth of Teck Corp. and Lacana Mining (since absorbed by Barrick Gold) and served on the boards of more than 50 junior exploration companies. He also played a leadership role in the expansion of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) into a globally respected institution and was a founding member of the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame. Mr. Thompson was inducted into the Mining Hall of Fame in 2018.
